Is there today a credible alternative to Greg Lyn’s ambivalent processes, Gehry’s acrobatics, the Calvinist diagrams of the Dutch? There is very much so, specifically in the less spectacular but extremely sensitive and engaged works coming from smaller countries (once great) such as Austria, Spain or Portugal.
